Domestic Transfer Students (U.S.)
Domestic transfer students are individuals who have permanent residency in the United States and have completed college or university credits after graduating high school.
The requirements below are for individuals who will be transferring credits that they earned at the college level after graduating high school. Their admission and scholarship status will be evaluated based on BYU–Hawaii’s transfer student criteria.
An applicant who has completed concurrent or dual enrollment courses and is applying to attend immediately after high school graduation is considered a new freshman applicant (see new domestic student requirements).
There are slightly different requirements for a transfer student who has completed less than 24 credit hours from another institution and a transfer student who has completed 24 credit hours of coursework at a college or university other than BYU–Hawaii after high school graduation.
