Submit Transcripts

International (non-U.S.) applicants have the option to send an official copy of their transcripts either through mail or electronically.

Mail

All transcripts sent through the mail must be official and sealed and can be sent to:

BYU–Hawaii Admissions
BYU–Hawaii #1973
55-220 Kulanui St. BLDG 5
Laie, HI 96762

Please note that mail can take two to three weeks to arrive when sent from the mainland United States or through international mail.

Electronically

Official transcripts may be sent electronically one of two ways:

  1. e-Transcript Service: Official transcripts may be sent from either the Parchment Exchange or the National Student Clearinghouse.
  2. Email: Transcripts that are emailed via email to admissions@byuh.edu must be official and cited by an ecclesiastical leader (branch president, bishop, stake president) who is not a family member. Transcripts may be sent by a self-reliance manager or missionary as long as they are cited by the manager or missionary sending them or an ecclesiastical leader. Transcripts will not be accepted from the school registrar's office. Transcripts must be sent in PDF format.

Cite Transcripts

The official transcript needs to be taken to the ecclesiastical leader.

The leader needs to include the following:

  1. Leader's printed name, title (branch president, bishop, etc.), and the date.
  2. The following words: "Official transcript (or test score) has been cited."

The leader then signs the document underneath the above information.

The student can then email a PDF version of the document to admissions@byuh.edu or mail the original printed document to BYU–Hawaii Admissions.

Submit Test Scores

Test scores must be received two to three days before the application deadline of the desired semester.

Official test scores may be sent electronically in one of two ways:

  1. Directly from the testing service.
  2. By the applicant via email to admissions@byuh.edu if they are in PDF format and cited (see below) by an ecclesiastical leader (branch president, bishop, stake president) who is not a family member. Test scores may be sent by a self-reliance manager or missionary as long as they are sent and cited by the manager or missionary who administered the test.
