BYU–Hawaii Freshman Admissions Criteria

  1. Complete Baccalauréat:
    - Official subject/grade/examination reports (livret scolaire) and completion certificate issued in French and English. Documents must be issued by the school with the official stamp and signature accompanied by an official English translation.
    **Must include 10th, 11th, and 12th years.
    --OR--
    Complete the IGCSE or GSCE:
    - Official examination results showing at least five passed subjects issued in English.
  2. Meet the English test requirement.
  3. Complete the ecclesiastical endorsement.
  4. Seminary attendance, full-time missionary service, leadership responsibilities, and extracurricular activities may also be used as determining factors in admission decisions.

BYU–Hawaii BYU-Pathway Partnership Program

BYU–Hawaii has partnered with BYU-Pathway Worldwide to offer priority admission consideration for PathwayConnect finishers. Here are the eligibility requirements:

  1. Complete BYU-Pathway’s foundational PathwayConnect curriculum with a minimum 3.0 GPA or higher and/or complete BYU-Pathway Worldwide certificate and/or associate degree.
  2. Meet the English test requirement.

The completion of a BYU-Pathway Worldwide program will waive BYU–Hawaii’s high school diploma/secondary education requirements.
