BYU-Hawaii has established a standard transfer agreement for incoming students. Student transfering into BYU-Hawaii with an Associates of Arts, Associates of Arts & Science, Associates of Science, Associates of Liberal Studies/Arts, or Associates of General Studies, are required to complete only the following courses at BYU-H: GE 300 - World Communities, ENGL 315 - Advanced Writing, and the 4 core Religion courses (REL 200, 225, 250, and 275).
BYU-Hawaii will accept transfer students who have earned an Associates of Applied Science, or a 2 year diploma from an accredited college or University. Some of these credits may be accepted and count towards BYU-Hawaii GE requirements. These students will also need to complete the following coursework at BYU-Hawaii: GE 100, GE 110, GE 120, ENGL 315, GE 300 and the 4 core Religion courses (REL 200, 225, 250, and 275).
If the student tests into EIL upon admissions, they will also need to complete ENGL 101.
