Toggle ItemI can’t get into Student Center account. Where can I go for help?Have you sent in your intent to enroll to Admissions? Until it is received and you are matriculated (which may take up to 48 hours) you will not be able to access your Student Center account.
If you still cannot log in, please contact the BYU–Hawaii Call Center & Help Desk at (808) 675-3921 between the hours of 7:00 am and 9:00 pm, Monday through Saturday Hawaii Standard Time. You can also submit a ticket request for help. -
Toggle ItemHow do I get into my student email account?Access your email by logging into https://go.byuh.edu using yourCESNetid@go.byuh.edu and the temporary password. You will be prompted to create a new password. Please visit the IT website for answers to questions or to find directions on how to access or forward your BYU–Hawaii email.

Toggle ItemWhen and how do I pay tuition?Students can pay payment by either In-person payments or Credit Card payment. Please refer to theCashier's office for more information.

Toggle ItemDoes the school offer scholarships to new students?Returned missionary vouchers are available to non-IWORK students who served in or are from the Pacific Rim. Other scholarships are automatically offered to a small selection new students based on academic achievement.
Merit scholarships are offered to all students after their first semester depending on their grade point average earned at BYUH.

Toggle ItemHow much does housing cost and when can I book a room?Booking a room is done through the Housing Portal under your student account. The cost for each type of room can be found on the Housing Prices page. Please review Important Dates and Deadlines to find out what day you can register for housing.
*All freshmen or first-year students must live on campus for their first three semesters in dormitory-style housing.
*IWORK students will automatically be assigned to a room. -
Toggle ItemWill my remote enrollment count towards the year that I have to live on campus?Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many students' first semesters are online. These semesters do count towards the first year that you must live on campus. For answers to more questions regarding housing, please contact the housing office.

Toggle ItemHow do I get to campus from the airport?North Shore Express offers rides to BYU–Hawaii Students from the airport at $55/person.
For IWORK students only, once you have purchased your plane ticket, email LaVerne Puhi at laverne.puhi@byuh.edu with your flight information (arrival date, time and flight number) and arrangements will be made with you directly.

Toggle ItemI am an international student. When can I expect to receive my Visa packet?A packet of information regarding your Visa will be sent to you after you have sent us a copy of your passport and after the completion of processing your Visa documents from SEVIS.

Toggle ItemHow can I join student clubs?You can sign up for clubs and events on Campus Labs. Student clubs feature various cultures, academic skills, and special interests.

Toggle ItemHow do I apply for a job on campus?If you are interested in being employed on campus or at the Polynesian Cultural Center, you can apply for jobs on the Employment Opportunities page once you are enrolled as a student. Interviews are normally done in-person, so please only apply once you have arrived on the island.

Toggle ItemDo I have to sign up for a meal plan?Students in dormitory-style housing will not have access to a kitchen and must sign up for either a gold or silver meal plan. All other students may purchase a meal plan if they choose.
Pricing for meal plans can be found on the Food Services website.
*IWORK students will automatically be given a meal plan. -
Toggle ItemWhere can I find the textbooks?Your professors will contact you through either email, Canvas, or in person during the first week of the semester to let you know which textbooks you need, and often where to buy them. Most textbooks are available for purchase through the Bookstore.
