Generally, BYU-Hawaii looks for students with a GPA of 2.8 or higher and an ACT score of 21 or higher. Students with lower GPA or ACT scores can be considered for the Challenge Program.

On the grid below identify your high school cumulative GPA and SAT/ACT score to see if you qualify ACADEMICALLY for admissions as a candidate in the Challenge Program. Students in the Challenge Program are required to pass two specific classes in the Fall Semester with a 2.5 GPA in those classes in order to be able to continue on to the next semester.
